Waqas received his BEng degree in Aerospace Engineering from Ryerson University where he specialized in the aeronautics stream. Currently, Waqas completes his MASc degree in Aerospace Engineering where he specializes in avionics & systems stream and he continues his studies towards a PhD degree. Waqas has experience with design, simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing of robust, optimal, adaptive and predictive control systems for satellite formation flying using 3-axis thrusters, single thrust vectoring and solar radiation pressure. Including space flight at Lagrangian points. Waqas has extensive experience with MATLAB + Simulink (Toolboxes: Control Systems, Robust, Model Predictive) and CATIA v5.
