Alex received his BSc and MAsc degree in Aerospace Engineering from Ryerson University. Now he is pursuing a PhD in Aerospace Engineering with Dr. Kumar. He did his undergraduate project on “Design of Data Logger System for Landing Gear Studies”. His Masters thesis is on “Design of Attitude and Orbit Control System of Spacecraft with Coupled Attitude and Orbit Dynamics”. Alex has many publications and due to his academic performance was given many scholarships and awards including Ontario Scholar Award. He is participating in many projects in the SSDC lab and he is an active member of some academic societies such as Royal Aeronautics Society. His research interests fall mostly in the control and structure categories particularly in the space systems and design.
